Specializing in delicious Northwest cuisine served in a relaxed and comfortable setting, Urbane dedicates itself to the philosophy of Executive Chef Brent Martin: “Good food depends on good ingredients.” A native of New Zealand, Martin works with farmers across Washington and the Pacific Northwest who are dedicated to sustainable growing techniques and bringing the best possible product to market.
The menus at Urbane change frequently to reflect the seasonality of these key ingredients including species of fish and shellfish native to the Pacific Northwest. Urbane Restaurant offers a tempting Children’s Menu that features healthful alternatives to the typical junk food.
True to our regional focus, the wine menu at Urbane exclusively showcases fine Pacific Northwest wines. Our restaurant serves delicious Pacific Northwest water, sparkling or stilled, both purified in-house and poured from reusable carafes.
Urbane is situated within the pioneering Hyatt at Olive 8 – Seattle’s first LEED-certified green hotel. The restaurant and bar are easily accessible from 8th Avenue or the hotel lobby. For the convenience of our patrons, our restaurant menus are available in Braille.
